At The Table at Fort Plain we feel very lucky to be living here in the Mohawk Valley. Perhaps it’s all the great food growing all around us or the dedicated folks working hard to raise amazing meat and dairy. All we know is that nothing beats the first maple syrup of spring, grilling corn in August within sight of the field where it was grown, or the smell of apples on a crisp Fall morning. Maybe we just like mooing at the cows from the car as we drive along the river.
It’s this love of the local area that our kitchen team looks to celebrate with our creative and casual take on classic dishes. We write our menus anew each morning to reflect what we find freshest and most exciting in the market that day. This means we will always try to serve food at the peak of its season, when it tastes the best.
