Meet the Chef

A graduate of the Fort Plain High School, Aaron is excited to return to his home town, almost 20 years later. Since leaving the valley, Aaron studied culinary arts at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI and restaurant operations at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. His career has ranged from cooking at the prestigious Chatham Bars Inn on Cape Cod to managing chain restaurants in Baltimore and Philadelphia. Most recently, he grew his small Philadelphia deli into an exciting catering business.

Aaron is very happy to be here where each change of the seasons brings new challenges and opportunities. He hopes that his creative approach to casual favorites will help to highlight the hard work of the growers and farmers in the Mohawk Valley that never stopped being his home.
